Day two of nothing but bumming it was a blast! A hearty breakfast and a road trip to Magadi town. The road trip revealed God’s splendor the nature was amazing to look at. I took pictures…It’s beautiful out here.
I had this mental master piece of what Lake Magadi would look like. But what I had in mind did not prepare me for what I was about to see. There was dust, sludge, factory waste. And the smell of rotten boiled eggs surrounded the lake the heat was unforgiving. I was crushed.
I need to do some research to find out if this is the effect of pollution and global warming or if this is what a salt lake should look like. I was last at the lake about 15 years ago. But I don’t remember it ever looking like this!
